On January 12, 2008 in the Lviv Palace of Arts the Seminar “Current problems of the Ukrainian and world videoart” was held. The seminar was a part of the International festival of Videoart “KinoLevchyk”.

- Agricola de Cologne – artist, producer, curator, organizer of the media exhibitions and festivals \Germany\, with the lecture: “Memory and Identity: a challenge in digital video”.
- Michał Brzeziński – artist and video theoretician, specialist in the visual media\Poland\, with a lecture: “Self-assertion in the world of new technologies”.
- Glib Vysheslavsky - artist, art critic, author of many solo exhibitions. Researcher of The Institute of Problems of Contemporary Art. Participant of the Biennale di Venezia, 50-st International Art Exhibition\Ukraine\ with a lecture: “Videoart, apropriate video, postmedia video”.
- Bogdan Shumylovych – art historian\Ukraine\ with a lecture: “Does videoart in Lviv have a future. Conversation about the context.”
- Roman Hankevych – art historian\Ukraine\ with a lecture: “The essay of the theoretical substantiation of videoart, as fact of current art.”

International Festival of Independent Cinematography “KinoLev” invite all the creators to participate in the project – of Video Art “KinoLevchuk”. Festival will be lasting from 24 of December 2007 till 20 of January 2008 years in Lviv, Ukraine. The competition of this festival will be occurring 2-9 of January 2008. Welcome to participate!
