Lviv — the capital of crafts

The Muzeum of Ideas invites You to participate in the third Fair-sale «Lviv — the capital of crafts ’ 07» conducted on the occasion of the Day of Lviv in the historical center of Lviv in Valova street 18aby the walls of Bernardine Monastery from May 1 to May 6, 2007.

The objective of this festival is popularization of folk traditions and culture of Ukraine, presentation of folk crafts, trades and handmade articles, namely: woodcarving, weaving, embroidery, forging, pottery, straw wicker-work etc.

Folk craftsmen and artisans specializing in batiks, folk toys, Easter-egg painting, leather, glass articles will participate in this event. Every willing visitor will see the process of work on the material and manufacture of items, communicate with artisans and feel the warmth of work of the artisan and find oneself in the atmosphere of Medieval festival popular in Lviv from the times immemorial.
